Colin lives in Suva - Vasu Vanuabalevu, Lau.
Colin was the Vutala Na Ua 2010 sail master and also the Te Mana o Te Moana 2011 Sail master.
He is a keen sportsman instrumental in setting up the Fiji Surfing Association and Fiji Outrigger. He has represented Fiji in Yachting and Outrigger Paddling in seven South Pacific Games and five World Championships with the 1988 Seoul Olympics being the pinnacle of his sporting career.
Colin is a founding member of the Fiji Islands Voyaging Society along with Letila Mitchell and Manoa Rasigatale.
A father of five children, Colin spends his time between the Fiji Voyaging office as a volunteer and his clothing manufacturing business in Wailada, Lami. In his spare time he assists unemployed youths through the support of two rugby clubs in Lami and the Vatuwaqa Squatter Settlement. He is also a Trustee of the Tae Kami Foundation Fiji and organiser of the Walk On Walk Strong walk for cancer kids.
